Idea Selection – Rapid Prototyping – Su Teatro Visit

This morning the interns presented their initial ideas in response the RFP (Request For Proposals) that they were given. This year we will be making Time-Based, Site-Specific, Community Engaging, Thought-Provoking artwork. The interns will present their work to the public on First Friday August 3rd during the artwalk.

In the afternoon we took a short walk down Santa Fe Drive to talk to Tanya Mote at Su Teatro. She was able to give us a brief history of the neighborhood and of the Chicano Movement in Denver. I know that her stories will greatly influence our students work.
